The QS World University Rankings for 2013 are out and the UK has fared well with a record six Universities featuring in the top 20, including Cambridge, UCL, Imperial, Oxford all in the top 10. Meanwhile in Chile, the top 2 Universities, Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (PUC) and Universidad de Chile (UC) have made significant progress. In 2008 PUC was ranked 241 and UC 320, in 2009 PUC was at 277 and UC at 343. The 2011 and 2012 lists saw PUC and UC steadily climb up the list moving from 240 to 195 and 262 to 225, respectively. This year further gains have been made, most noticeably by PUC coming in at 166 and UC at 223. See the video below for the overall top 10.
